Aids-Hilfe Schweiz

Aids-Hilfe Schweiz combines prevention work with advocacy for the needs, rights and social equality of people living with HIV. Its prevention projects pay particular attention to the population groups most affected. The organisation handles project planning, coordination and delivery, addressing HIV alongside other sexually transmitted infections.[1]

The aids.ch platform provides multilingual information for people in Switzerland about vaccination, protection, testing and treatment. The shop adds brochures and other publications that can be ordered or downloaded. It also sells condoms, lubricants, internal condoms and dental dams.[6][9]

The organisation accepts reports of HIV-related discrimination. This includes possible discrimination observed in a professional setting, such as a medical practice, clinic, insurer or workplace. Reports help identify where discrimination occurs and what consequences it has, providing a basis for targeted measures.[10]
