Geneva’s queer film festival runs from 9 to 18 October. Cabaret, a concert and queer country dance already offer a first look at its 13th edition.
Ten days of queer cinema and culture Everybody’s Perfect returns to Geneva’s Maison des arts du Grütli for its 13th edition from 9 to 18 October. The full film programme is being released progressively, while festival passes and five-entry cards are already available.
These dates are already confirmed On 10 October, Geneva Camerata meets drag singer and cabaret character Diamanda Callas at La Gravière, followed by a cabaret later that evening. The focus continues on 11 October with a talk and book signing around Céline du Chéné’s “Cabarets”. Further cabaret evenings follow at Le Groove on 16 and 17 October.
Country dance with no experience required On 15 October, the Grütli hosts a 90-minute workshop on queer country-dance history and basic steps. No partner or previous dance experience is needed; the workshop is in English with French interpretation. That evening, the country-dance party moves to Le Groove. Anyone travelling for one specific event should check the official festival site first, as more announcements are still being added.
