LSBK Basel is a queer church-related branch of «Menschen für die OKE» at the Offene Kirche Elisabethen. Founded in 1991 as the «Lesbian and Gay Grassroots Church», it now mainly supports the OKE's queer events (for example the Regenbogenfeiern, or rainbow services), collects queer-theological texts, points to books, films and events, and creates contacts. Newsletter, «QuerKreuz» circular and podcasts; since 2021 the OKE itself holds the services as Regenbogenfeiern. Next dates on its website: 14 November 2026, 17:00, rainbow service at the Offene Kirche Elisabethen, and 13 to 19 November 2026 «Sistaazhood – Faces of Resistance».
