Belgium· Antwerp, Belgium· Winter (late February/early March)

One of Europe's largest indoor fetish festivals, held each winter in Antwerp's docklands.

About the event

Darklands — running as Beyond Darklands since 2026 — is one of Europe's largest indoor fetish and kink festivals, held each winter at Waagnatie in Antwerp's port district. Over several days it pairs a daytime festival of market stalls, performances, workshops and panels with an evening programme of themed parties.

The character is focused and curated: a large gear market with fashion and art from around the world, live shows and competitions, and an education strand of talks and demos. The daytime festival is open to everyone, while the evening parties are aimed mainly at men and trans men, and a FLINTA programme offers a safer space for people who identify as female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender or agender.

Because it all happens indoors in winter, Antwerp makes an easy-to-plan city break. Exact dates, tickets and the programme are published on the official site.
