Queer Film Festival Sees Record Attendance

This year's queer film festival drew more visitors than ever before. Numerous screenings sold out across several days.
The programme ranged from intimate documentaries to lavish feature films from more than twenty countries. Works by emerging directors were in especially high demand.
Festival organisers credit the success to a broader, more accessible programme and discounted tickets for young people.
Given the demand, an expansion for next year is already being considered. A second venue is under discussion.
