Zurich Pride 2026: demonstration instead of festival, focus on trans youth

Zurich Pride took place in 2026 without a festival and put the demonstration of 20 June at the centre. The organisation framed the pause as a moment to refocus, regain energy and make Pride's political core more visible.

The motto "Protect Trans Youth – Zugang schafft Zukunft" sets a clear tone. It is not only about symbolism, but about access: to counselling, safer spaces, medical and psychosocial support, school and training without exclusion.
