Where it is
Paradise Beach, properly Kalamopodi, lies on the south coast of Mykonos, west of Super Paradise.
Address: Plintri
What it is
Paradise is considered the party hub of Mykonos: the sandy beach with sunbeds and bars turns in the afternoon and evening into a stage for well-known DJs at the Paradise Beach Club. The beach is mixed and very lively, a must for travellers who want to combine dancing with beach life.
History
The beach became a gathering point for hippies in the 1960s, who camped under the open sky and practised naturism; from 1969 a campsite and the first venues appeared. From that free-spirited atmosphere grew the famous party beach, complemented by the renowned after-hours club Cavo Paradiso.
