Paradise and Super Paradise are two neighbouring beach bays on the south coast of Mykonos, around the hamlet of Plintri, about six kilometres from Chora.

What it is
The area concentrates the island's best-known beach clubs: Paradise as a general party and DJ hub (with the after-hours club Cavo Paradiso), and Super Paradise with its queer profile and the Jackie O' Beach Club. Sun and swimming by day, music and parties from the afternoon into the small hours.
History
From the 1960s and 1970s the area was shaped first by hippies and then by the international gay community, who established beach freedom here and eventually the first club nights. From that legacy grew the two beaches' reputation as the party and LGBTQ hub of Mykonos.
