What it is
The golden sand combines sunbathing with a strong beach-club and party scene; the right-hand side (facing the sea) remains the queerest, most social stretch. Best known is the Jackie O' Beach Club, with daytime parties, drag shows and sunset music.
History
Super Paradise became known in the 1970s as the original gay beach of Mykonos, when the island was one of the few places in Europe offering real freedom to LGBTQ travellers. For years it was almost exclusively gay before Elia took over that role; today it draws both queer and straight crowds.
