What it is

Across some 10 hectares you can explore habitats such as the African savannah, equatorial forests, wetlands and Madagascar, with lions, giraffes, elephants, gorillas and many other species. The barrier-free design makes a visit feel like a journey through nature and is especially popular with families.

History

Bioparc Valencia opened in 2008 and follows the concept of zoo immersion, showing animals in recreated habitats without visible barriers. The park focuses above all on the ecosystems of Africa.
