Playa de l'Arbre del Gos (Pinedo)

South of the port of Valencia, in the Pinedo area, where the city gives way to the Albufera natural park; reachable by car or bus.

A long, open sandy beach whose southern end is an established nudist zone and counts as Valencia's main gay and cruising beach, particularly around an old factory. More natural and less touristy than the city beaches.

The Pinedo beach was historically a fishing and summer beach south of the city and has long established itself as Valencia's best-known nudist and gay area. The name l'Arbre del Gos refers to the textile section from which the nudist zone begins.
