Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel 2026: health, ageing and engagement in focus

The Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel has launched its seventh survey wave. In 2026, the focus is on health, the experiences of younger and older LGBTIQ people, and social engagement. The study matters for Switzerland because it does not only offer snapshots; it follows developments over several years.

According to the project site, the 2025 edition included 6,177 participants from all cantons. That breadth makes the data useful for community organisations, cities and counselling services: it can help them understand where people lack safety, access to support or visibility.
