What it is
Around the moorings there are restaurants, bars, a cinema, a bowling alley and shops, plus a stroll along the yachts. With free parking and sea views, the marina is a relaxed destination away from the bustle of the city centre.
History
Brighton Marina was constructed in the 1970s and officially opened by the Queen in 1979. It is one of the largest man-made marinas in Europe and has since been expanded with residential, retail and leisure areas.
