in Manchester, United Kingdom

Manchester United's legendary stadium offers tours of the dressing rooms, tunnel and pitchside, plus a museum across three floors.

Where it is

The stadium lies in the Old Trafford district on Sir Matt Busby Way, south-west of the city centre, with its own Metrolink stop.

Address: Sir Matt Busby Way, M16 0RA Trafford

What it is

The roughly 70-minute stadium tour takes in the dressing room, the players' tunnel and pitchside, complemented by a multi-level museum with trophies and the Munich memorial room. Tours run on non-match days. For football enthusiasts it is one of the city's most striking experiences.

History

Old Trafford has been Manchester United's home since 1910 and, with over 74,000 seats, is England's largest club stadium. Badly damaged in the Second World War, it was rebuilt afterwards and expanded many times since. It is deeply tied to the club's history, including the eras of Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson.
