What it is
The Negresco is the luxurious Belle Époque icon of Nice, crowned by its pink dome. History
The hotel was built by Henri Negresco and opened on 8 January 1913, with the architect Édouard Niermans involved in its design. In 1957 it passed to the Augier family, and Madame Jeanne Augier shaped it with her celebrated art collection; in 2003 it was listed as a national historic monument.
