In the Guadalmar district on the edge of Málaga city, east of Torremolinos and only a few minutes from Málaga airport.
What it is
The roughly 400-metre beach is part mixed and part reserved for naturists; the section by the golf course is nudist, and the pine-and-scrub area by the car park is known as a cruising spot for the LGBT community. Equipped with showers and restaurants, it is a relaxed retreat away from the busier urban beaches.
History
Guadalmar is the only officially designated nudist beach in the city of Málaga and has long been established as a naturist, gay-popular beach. It lies at the foot of a golf course, near the mouth of the Guadalhorce river.
