Passeig Marítim

The seafront promenade runs along the Sitges bay, from the landmark church westward past the town's beaches.

Lined with cafés, restaurants and beach bars, the promenade is the favourite place for a stroll, especially at sunset. It frames views over the Mediterranean and the beaches towards the church, and on summer evenings it becomes a lively place to walk and people-watch.

The promenade grew with the rise of Sitges as a seaside resort and is lined with palms and elegant Noucentista and Modernista villas. It embodies the town's image as a fashionable bathing resort since the late 19th century.
