Platja de Sant Sebastià
in Sitges, Spain
A calm, family-friendly beach right beside the old town on the quieter side of the church — the laid-back counterpoint to the scene beaches.
Where it is
The beach lies between the old town and the port, on the far side of the La Punta promontory from the Passeig de la Ribera.
Address: Sitges
What it is
It is a family-friendly beach over 200 metres long, popular with locals and offering views of the old town and parish church. It is well equipped, with showers, lounger and parasol hire and accessible facilities.
History
The beach shares the seafaring past of the surrounding Sant Sebastià fishing quarter, one of the oldest parts of Sitges. It keeps a more traditional, local character away from the busier main beaches.
