Platja de la Bassa Rodona

This central beach-and-nightlife area stretches along the Passeig Marítim around the Bassa Rodona, between the Hotel Calipolis and the nearby Carrer del Pecat.

By day life revolves around the beach and its chiringuitos; in the evening it shifts along the promenade towards the bars and restaurants near Carrer del Pecat. It is the most convenient base for travellers who want sun, sea and queer nightlife within walking distance.

Around the central Bassa Rodona, the traditional gay beach of Sitges, the sociable heart of the LGBTQ scene took shape. Beach, promenade and the nearby bars grew over the decades into a connected community quarter.
