Pride Aargau 2026: colours and solidarity in Aarau

Aarau, 5 September 2026 – The queer community of Canton Aargau celebrated its annual Pride on Saturday. Under the theme of visibility and solidarity, participants from across the canton and the surrounding region marched through the streets of the cantonal capital.

Pride Aargau is one of the few cantonal pride events outside Switzerland's major cities, representing a growing, visible queer community in the country's rural-to-urban belt. Its message is clear: queer life belongs everywhere in Switzerland – including the Mittelland.
